Holiday Portraits at Bella Pooch

My last post mentioned the pet portraits that I did in November, I wanted to share some of my favorites with you. Also I’m offering holiday pet portraits again this year, you’re welcome to bring your family as well. But since it will also be held at Bella Pooch, a pooch is a must! :)

One of my favorite things about dogs that I must mention is how unique each one is. They’re almost just like kids, but harder to potty train. Every dog has their own personality, and most are very willing to share it with you! Of course the unconditional love thing is a plus too.

I’m doing these again for the holidays! On November 15th. It’s the same price which is $15 for 20 minutes including a 5×7 photos. Please call me to schedule a time. They will be held at Bella Pooch in Pensacola. This is the last chance to get these this year.

Pet Portraits at Bella Pooch

Are you in Pensacola and have a furry best friend? You will want to take advantage of this special I’m doing with Bella Pooch! This year I wanted to capture family and their pets. Holiday cards will be offered from this session. These mini-sessions are worth over $40, so call me and get your time in now! They are wonderful for anyone who would like professional holiday cards without the session fee.

Bella Pooch is a wonderful grooming shop located off of Highway 98 near Blue Angel Parkway. It is very close to Arbys and I will send you a map when you book your mini-session.

Call me today or feel free to email me. I do plan on doing a holiday themed session in November but they will not be as fun as this!

Back in Town!

Well I should have posted a message before I left, but instead just put up an autoresponder on my email. So where was I?! I was in New Orleans with some of the best photographers in the world! It was a wonderful experience and I’m very glad that I went. It was a bit more exhausting than I expected, but then they shouldn’t have let us sleep in anyway. :) It was a truly inspiring trip and I was happy to meet other photographers around the world.

Just a note that in these photos I was attempting to do anything and everything different from my normal ways. I’m pretty pleased at how my capturing the motion shots turned out, I don’t think I’ve ever taken that style in daytime!

On the day all of the classes were over I took a couple of hours to walk around and shoot. Here’s just a couple of my favorites.

A gate awaiting it’s owners return…

Busy on the Beach

Man the beach sure has seen some action lately with all of these hurricanes barely missing us. I was at a wedding the day Ike hit land and the waves here were huge! :) I’m not going to say anything more on hurricanes until the hurricane season is over, that way I will not jinx anything. Everyone just be prepared and stay safe!

So back to beautiful weather! Here’s some shots from a session I just have to share…

Putting on her shoes… (How cute is that?)

Ut oh, they’re backwards! That’s okay though, I do that sometimes myself. :)

Sandy Days

Well it’s been work work work lately! That’s always good. :) Sadly I had to cancel my vacation this year since my mother had to go into surgery. But that’s okay, it wasn’t anything serious. Just one of those things that needs to be done sooner rather than later.

Now here’s a few photos from some recent sessions… soon I’ll be updating with previews so families get a sneak peek before they’re finished! :)

A Horrific Moment

Those who know me a little know I’ve done graphic design for years. Well, those who know me even more know I NEVER save my work as I’m going. I’m just terrible about that! Now things don’t crash all that often, but when they do it’s heartbreaking. I’ve never known Photoshop was out to get me, but tonight I’ve come to the conclusion that it is!

I’m merrily working on my postcard project, after an hour I finally finish it. My smiley happy self goes to click “Save As…” and right after I do, Photoshop closes. All gone! Now imagine a screaming woman from a horror movie… that’s exactly my expression but with no sound coming out. Ugh! I’ve been so busy lately I really don’t have time to deal with crashes. So anyway, there’s my rant and I feel a little better now.

I’ve been sooo busy with sessions and weddings lately, there will definitely be a large photo feast coming up. I’m also going on vacation in a couple weeks, so once I get back I’ll have even more eye candy for everyone. I can’t wait, woohoo!

Erica and Mike

Perhaps posting everyday was a unattainable goal for me. :) It’s been super busy and I’m actually going out of town today for a couple of days so I will not be able to post until after then. Here’s some photos from Erica and Mike’s beach wedding. It was very beautiful by the boardwalk on Okaloosa Island. Angler’s reception area was wonderful, for a buffet style dinner it was extremely good food.

Beach Kids

Here some beach kids from Liz’s family portraits. :) I should post some more but I had difficulty picking my favorites. I love the action sand shot! She was such a cutie. Enjoy.

Little Ellie

I just love sessions where I can photograph a baby or child for 30 minutes straight. She was a good sport, even better with some ice cream! I’m going to share with you the bestest most secretive photographer’s tip in existence - the perfect place to photograph kids is at an ice cream shop. ;)

She has beautiful large brown eyes. I was playing with angles and love this, don’t you kind of feel like a baby toy in this photo? :)

30A Wedding

Here is Hannah and Zach’s lovely wedding. It was a beach wedding, with pillows! I loved the pillows on the beach, the only problem was the temptation to lay on them. :) I wish them the very best with their new lives together. Thank you both for sharing your big day with me!

I personally loved the cake and the cute champagne glass decorations.
